Canada’s Wonderland takes excitement to new heights in 2011, with the addition of WindSeeker – a 30-storey swing ride.
Towering high above the Park, WindSeeker will ascend 301 feet (91.7M) and spread its metal arms, swinging riders at a 45-degree angle at speeds up to 50 kilometers per hour. WindSeeker will feature 32 two-person swings that will provide riders with a sensational feeling of weightlessness as their feet dangle at heights never experienced before at Wonderland.

Edgefest '11
Date: July 8-10, 2011 at Downsview Park
Edgefest ‘11 is set to return to Toronto with 16 acts now confirmed to perform at Downsview Park on Saturday, July 9, 2011. Fan favourites Rise Against, A Perfect Circle, The Weakerthans, Tokyo Police Club, Arkells, The Reason and Dinosaur Bones will be rocking the main stage.
Rounding out the bill of incredible talent on the XM Side Stage will be Hollerado, Ko, Gentleman Husbands, Harlan Pepper, Michou, Mockingbird Wish Me Luck, Monster Truck, Sandman Viper Command and The Sheepdogs, making this the must-see festival of 2011.
Edgefest began as a single event for the 10th birthday celebration of 102.1 the Edge. After such an incredible success, the event turned into an annual concert for music enthusiasts. For the past 20 years, Edgefest has featured the biggest names in new rock such as Billy Talent, AFI, Tool, Radiohead, Nickelback, Green Day, Blur, Our Lady Peace, Linkin Park, Stone Temple Pilots and hundreds of other major label and indie acts.

Heavy T.O. Concert
Date: July 23-24th at Downsview Park
The remarkable success of HEAVY MTL has prompted the launch of a new event - HEAVY T.O. Set to take place on the same weekend as HEAVY MTL, metal and hard rock fans in the GTA will be able to get up close and personal with the amazing Heavy experience. The event will feature two full days of programming and, along with HEAVY MTL, will undoubtedly make Canada the envy of the international metal and hard rock communities.
The inaugural Heavy T.O. concert takes place at Downsview Park. Located on the north end of Toronto, Downsview Park has played host to a number of large scale concerts over the past 10 years.
Lineup: Megadeth, Rob Zombie, Billy Talent, Slayer, Anthrax, Opeth, Motörhead, Mastodon, Children Of Bodom, Testament, As I Lay Dying, Volbeat, Baptized in Blood, Anvil, The Sword, Times of Grace, Melissa Auf der Maur, DevilDriver, Diamond Head, Underoath, Exodus, Death Angel.

Black Creek Summer Music Festival

Rogers Cup

Since 1881, a bevy of tennis stars have blessed Canadians with their impressive talent. The world famous Canadian Open, the oldest ongoing tournament after Wimbledon and the U.S. Open, continues to present a first grade organization. With $2.615 million dollars U.S. prize money, this event attracts the world's best tennis players.
The impressive list of past champions on the Canadian stop of the professional tennis circuit bear such legendary names as John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg, Ivan Lendl, Andre Agassi and Roger Federer. At the inauguration of Toronto's Rexall Centre in 2004, 41 of the 50 best men's players in the world played for a record Toronto crowd of 165,508 spectators.
